These materials are protected under United States and international copyright, trademark, patent, and other intellectual property laws. All rights, title, and interest in and to the Site and its materials are owned by HVDC AMERICA or its third-party partners.

All text, graphics, logos, trademarks, service marks, trade names, images, videos, audio recordings, software, data sets, and other materials (collectively, “Content”) displayed on the Site are the property of HVDC AMERICA unless otherwise stated.

All trademarks, service marks, logos, and trade names displayed on this Site, including but not limited to “HVDC AMERICA”, are the property of HVDC AMERICA or its licensors and are protected by U.S. and international trademark laws.

3. Copyright Ownership

All rights in the Content on this Site are owned by HVDC AMERICA or licensed to HVDC AMERICA by third-party licensors. All rights not expressly granted herein are reserved. The Content on this Site may not be copied, reproduced, republished, uploaded, posted, transmitted, or distributed in any manner without the express written consent of HVDC AMERICA.

This includes, but is not limited to:

A. Systematic downloading, scraping, or automated extraction of Content for commercial or research purposes.

B. Use of Content to create derivative works or training datasets for AI, commercial products, or third-party platforms without authorization.

4. Fair Use and Limited License

HVDC AMERICA grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Content for personal, educational, research, or mission-aligned collaboration purposes.

HVDC AMERICA is a mission-driven initiative coordinating utilities, industry partners, research institutions, and government entities to modernize the U.S. electric grid.

A. Any data, tools, or Content made available through the Site are intended for research, educational, and collaborative use only.

B. Use of Site materials outside the scope of HVDC AMERICA’s mission, or for competitive or commercial purposes, is strictly prohibited without written consent.

C. Users may not scrape, download, or redistribute Site data or resources for commercial exploitation.

D. HVDC AMERICA reserves the right to revoke access to Site resources or pursue legal action against misuse.

6. User-Generated Content

By submitting any content (including comments, suggestions, research data, or feedback) to HVDC AMERICA via the Site, you grant HVDC AMERICA a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, display, distribute, and otherwise exploit such content for any lawful purpose.

You are solely responsible for the content you submit and must ensure it does not violate third-party rights or applicable law. HVDC AMERICA reserves the right to remove any user-generated content that it deems inappropriate, unlawful, or inconsistent with its mission.

 

 

7. Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) Compliance

HVDC AMERICA respects the intellectual property rights of others and complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA).

If you believe that any material on this Site infringes your copyright, please submit a written notice to HVDC AMERICA’s designated copyright agent containing the following:

  1. A. A physical or electronic signature of the copyright owner or authorized agent.

  2. B. Identification of the copyrighted work(s) claimed to be infringed.

  3. C. Identification of the infringing material and sufficient information to locate it.

  4. D. Contact information of the complaining party (address, phone, email).

  5. E. A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is unauthorized.

  6. F. A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

 

Upon receipt of a valid DMCA notice, HVDC AMERICA will remove or disable access to the infringing material and notify the user who posted it. If a counter-notice is received, HVDC AMERICA may restore the removed content in accordance with the DMCA.
